“Camp Dimittis”
Join us for Church Camp at Camp Dimittis! We will be camping with a family on vacation and learn a different Bible story each day. We start with the story of the prodigal son and what it means to confess your sins and believe, through faith, that God will forgive them. We will learn how God gives grace, mercy and forgiveness to His people. Students will learn what the ‘Office of the Keys’ is, why it is important, and how they can be sure of Jesus’ forgiveness. We finish the week out with the story of Isaiah and 2 Seraphim angels, and how he received individual forgiveness. We can receive individual forgiveness through our Baptism and when we receive forgiveness from our pastor with the Rite of Individual Confession and Absolution.
This year's VBS will teach us about how water and the Word through Jesus deliver us to salvation and forgiveness of sins!
VBS is July 13th - 17th from 9am - 11:30am for ages 3 years -6th grade.
