“Camp Dimittis”
Part of Confession is recognizing that we are sinners; God's Law bothers our conscience and show us that we are sinners in need of a Savior. In faith, we are shown our Savior Jesus, whose forgiveness is ours in our Baptism. Sinners need to be rescued; we are dead on our own and unable to do anything. God, in His mercy, sent His Son Jesus to be our Rescuer. We are given new life and cling to it in faith. Through the Means of Grace, mercy, hope, and forgiveness are announced to and given to us! We hear Absolution proclaimed and know that it is indeed for us.
This year's VBS will teach us about how water and the Word through Jesus deliver us to salvation and forgiveness of sins!
VBS is July 13th - 17th from 9am - 11:30am for ages 3 years -6th grade.
